Our Story

Piffits is a woman-owned, LGBTQ+ business started by owners Annick and Laurel.
We are both business and life partners, raising our beautiful blended family of six in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Sewing clothes for our kids started as a hobby picked up during COVID-19 lock-down and soon grew into a very small business named Rainbows and Raindrops co.

At the time, we were still best friends living on opposite sides of the country, and we only sold to friends within our online baby group: the same group that introduced us to one another!

When we merged houses, we stopped making clothes to focus on our family, but now that our kids are entering elementary school, we decided it was time to pursue our shared dream of growing our kitchen-table sewing into something much more. We are passionate about providing children with bright, cheerful, comfortable clothing.

Outside of Piffits, Laurel is a nurse and Annick is an art student completing her undergrad in fine arts at Utah Valley University. We enjoy skiing, hiking, rock climbing, and camping with our four crazy kids. We believe that black lives matter, that love is love, and that war is never the answer.

We hope you find something you like!
